Mid-Year Market Update

Aug 6, 2026

As we move into the second half of 2026, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued trust
and confidence in Schott Financial Management. We appreciate the opportunity to help you pursue your
financial goals and want to share a few updates with you.

Market Update
The stock market has delivered strong gains so far this year, while the bond market has experienced some
short-term volatility.
Looking ahead, we expect equities to hold on to much of their progress. Although bonds may continue to
experience some fluctuations, we expect both markets to trade within a relatively stable range rather than
experience significant moves in either direction.
As always, we’ll continue monitoring the markets closely.

LPL Financial Transition
Our transition to LPL Financial included plenty of emails, Adobe Sign documents, and a few expected bumps
along the way. Overall, however, the process has gone even more smoothly than we anticipated.
We’re especially pleased to hear positive feedback from clients regarding the new technology platform and
client portal. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout the transition.

Office Update
We have some wonderful personal news to share.
On July 30, the Schott Financial family welcomed its newest member, Charlotte June Harley, the first
grandchild of Steve and Dana.
We are incredibly grateful for this special blessing and excited to begin this new chapter of life with our growing
family.
