2020 gave us quite the ride, from complete market panic in March to a roaring comeback by year’s end. Despite the pandemic, mass unemployment, and a change in political administrations, the stock market, like America, remains resilient.
There are still many unknowns with the year ahead. The good news is that we are finally emerging from the Coronavirus. With testing and vaccinations becoming more readily available, the country is getting back on track. Companies are participating in the economic recovery, and consumer confidence is slowly returning. We are cautiously optimistic for moderate gain in the broad market for 2021. As vaccination distributions pick up and people get back to work, we are hopeful to see our economy return to a new normal.
